This is an antique lace making bobbin of hand turned wood, mahogany with antique beads made in  England in the East Midlands style during the mid Victorian era of 1850-1870s.

The hand made lace making bobbin for also called pillow lace making measures 5.5 inches long and has a yellow glass bead and yellow plastic faceted beads, 

The beads are old and the bobbin is beautifully turned.

A wonderful antique needleworking notion. Lovely!
